If you are new to Colorado, and are not currently a USSF certified referee, grade 8 or higher, you can find classes for that at coreferees.org.  It is REQUIRED that applicants for high school soccer officials are currently registered with USSF, and RECOMMENDED that the applicant have at least one year of USSF experience.  See the Membership Requirements link above.

Re-Certification:

Each year, all soccer officials must
1) Renew their membership annually by May 1, or prior to the next season ($10 late fee if after May 1)
2) Take the annual test (provided each summer by CHSAA)
3) Send the test to the Director of Rules and Clinics, with a signed code of ethics statement (also provided)
4) Attend a preseason refresher clinic before the fall season
Provisional, JV and level 4 officials must also attend an additional preseason refresher clinic prior to the spring season
It is also recommended that all officials maintain certification with USSF, in order to take advantage of the added training available
